IGN-1CD Capacitive Discharge Ignition Coil

The IGN-1CD is a high-performance capacitive discharge (CDI) ignition coil designed for motorsport use. Compact, reliable, and cost-effective, it’s ideal for use in distributor-based CDI systems or coil-per-cylinder setups—perfect for engines requiring precise, high-voltage spark delivery under extreme conditions.

Vibration-resistant and capable of being mounted at any angle, this coil is compatible with most CDI boxes including MSD, Mallory Hyfire, and other aftermarket capacitive ignition systems. Unlike many CDI coils, the IGN-1CD includes a dedicated secondary ground terminal, improving isolation between primary and secondary circuits and ensuring clean, stable ignition performance.

It uses standard HEI-type spark plug wire boots and delivers exceptional spark energy when configured with appropriate dwell settings.
